The Hairdresser's Blog: How I see D.C.

When I first came to Washington D.C. from Paris twenty years ago, I fell in love with the city. The French architecture made me feel a little less homesick. I loved playing soccer on the mall with people from everywhere in the world. While a lot of people on the outside see Washington as a cold and brutal political town, the truth is, it's actually the opposite. Over the last two decades I've met the most interesting and dedicated people who are here because they care a lot about this country and the world. I've been fortunate to have so many clients that are really tireless in trying to make a difference. At the very top of that list are Jeff Spruill and Vikki Spruill from the Council on Foundations, two beautiful people inside and out. Thanks to the Spruills and all my clients in the Washington, D.C. area. I am so happy to open my first salon in this beautiful city, and I look forward to seeing you in the new salon soon!
